The Medieval Bridge at the village of “Nenkovo” is built on the “Borovitsa” River, one of the great tributaries of the Arda River. It follows the architectural tradition of its time. It impresses with its huge size. It is asymmetrical, with five archways of different size. The roadway is 58 m long. Part of the bridge is destroyed by the lush waters of the river. At the one end it is rebuilt, but after second destruction at the other end it is no longer usable. The bridge is suitable for visiting in combination with other objects in this direction (the “Utroba” cave, the rock niches near the villages “Dazhdovnitsa” and “Nenkovo”).
