“All Saints” Chapel
“All Saints” chapel is located a 15 minutes walk from the center of Glavatartsi village. It was built in 2018 entirely with the gratuitous support of many supporters (Christians and Muslims) of this holy work. Every year, on the church holiday, whose name the chapel bears, a sacrifice is made for health. It is open year-round for worship. From the place itself, there is a wonderful view of the Kardzhali dam and the Eastern Rhodopes. Before the Chapel itself was built, a 10-meter iron cross was set on the site. Back then the idea of chapel construction was born.
According to eyewitnesses, during its transportation from the center of the village of Glavatartsi to the place of laying, the truck almost turned around. “It was as if the hand of God intervened and brought it back”. This gives even greater conviction to believers in this God-pleasing work. The chapel was consecrated by means of a liturgy and a blessing of water, celebrated by the parish priest Nikolay Velichkov and the priest from Burgas, Father Emilian. Read more..
